I hope you enjoy it and it will be helpful for your reflexion of the days.
By the way, we also updated the oxford learning conversations. Now you also find the “guided imageries”, the “discussions” and the “learning conversations” in our new technique on the isb website (You reach this new material by clicking on the title in the left column). Have a look:
Learning conversations in Florence are just about to be.
A few information, request and questions .
As you all know the theme is Culture and organizational culture with a systemic approach, so we are asking each of you to think about and bring with you 3 points about culture and organizational culture that you value or consider important, , it is just three points to share and bring to the group.
As you already know we are starting at 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon and will be finishing at 4 o’clock on Sunday, could you please tell us when exactly you will be arriving ?
On Friday we will be moving from Umanamente, where things are taking place at 5 o’clock to visit the Prigioni at the Museo dell’Accademia with a guided visit in english, and we will be finished by 7 o’clock. The cost of the visit including the guide is 16 Euros , and we need your confirmation .
On saturday evening we will be having dinner together in a restaurant, and again we need to know wether you will be there.
You will find hereincluded a map to direct you to the place where we will be meeting Umanamente Via delle Porte nuove 18 .
Two of our participants to the Learning Conversations who are from Brazil, Margarete De Bono
and Renato Morandi have suggested that the 2014 Learning conversation is in Porto Allegre in Brazil on 13 and 14 August. It will immediately follow a conference on coaching which will be on 11 and 12 August. I think it could be an excellent opportunity to continue with the Learning conversations project and to be immersed and involved in yet another culture, plus Brazil is an extremely interesting country in terms of development right now while at the same time it is a melting pot of cultures. So it is the right moment to think about your possible participation to that too.
So looking forward to seeing you in a few days and to be sharing this experience together
Warmest regards Sylvie

INSTA International Network for Systemic Transactional Analysis
„TA means co-creating realities through human communication“. Bernd Schmid
What is Learning conversations? Oxford 2011 Learning Conversations started in Oxford 2011. Rosemary Napper invited TA-professionals to international workshops on systemic TA with Bernd Schmid.
Participants came from all application fields and wished to build up a community for further learning on the systemic approach including perspectives on Organisational TA. For all TA fields and professionals, already working in the organizational field and interested to go beyond TA in organisations.
Heidelberg 2012 An first experimental design on Learning Communications was realized in Heidelberg 2012. In July around 45 professionals from 8 countries met as a learning community. After a phase of becoming familiar with each other, colleagues gave short inputs, which were discussed in fluid subgroups.
Besides people present, there was interaction with the outside world through video-live-stream and internet communication. To learn more about this was a substantial part of the experiment, because a mixed-media-learning-conversations-format should be developed. The aim: to initiate and coordinate local learning conversation events worldwide. Impressions, videos, presentations, materials form Heidelberg are free accessible under www.learningconversations.org. .
Florence 2013 The new format worked fine and we a lot was learned to developed further the didactic of learning conversations. The next Learning conversations event is in Florence 2013.
From October 11th to 13th a invited group plus staff will be hosted locally by Sylvie Rossi.
The focus is Culture of Systems
This is a small international event for transactional analysts, mostly working in the organizational field who are interested in developing a systemic perspective and approach in their own work. The event is organized as an “open space ” rather than with a conference format so as to provide much space for participants for sharing practice, discussing and dialoguing with the intent of developing theory of practice and building relationships. You are interested in an invitation? Please contact the initiators via firstname.lastname@example.org
Initiated by Rosemary Napper, UK and Bernd Schmid GER,
sponsored and administrated by Schmid – foundation, Heidelberg Germany
Videos of presentations, demonstrations and discussions are free available. Contact email@example.com
How to garden a Community? (planning vs. emergence)
Around this questions we arranged a short trailer, which is looking back to the past days in Heidelberg, to give you an impression of the ambience, the style of dealing with each other and the location.
Last but not least, we will serve you more content via (nearly uncutted) recorded Video-Interviews with Rosemary Napper, Gunther Schmid, Günther Mohr, Helen Ross and random participants about insights and perceptions in the next days.
